Hi, I’m Garion;

Local to the Yarra Valley in Victoria, Australia. We enjoy a temperate climate in a country town surrounded by State and National parks that’s a growing tourism destination.

Since 2020, I have been working part time on developing a mountaincart business in the Upper Yarra Valley (Victoria, Australia). Like most people starting greenfield projects at the early stages, I got excited and did a bunch of work, then got dismayed at some challenge and stopped for a few months, then got inspired again by something (then got stuck again!).

Since April 2024 my work has been more focussed, and since March 2025 it’s been a full-time occupation. It has engrossed me, and seldom an hour goes by when I am not thinking about some detail. Anyone who has started their own business will be familiar with this “new business fever”, that does not really die down for a few years after starting. It’s stimulating, exhausting, but also exhilarating (kind of like riding a mountaincart, now I think about it!).

Over the next few years I hope to build the business to be a thriving destination, employing locals and responsibly growing the tourism economy of the area.
